The campaign's argument is simple: no amount of infrastructure spending outruns unchecked population growth. A population law is the upstream fix.
What the campaign asks for
A standalone population law
A central law setting a clear norm for family size, kept separate from other social legislation so it can be debated and enforced on its own terms.
Incentives before penalties
Tax relief, education and healthcare benefits for families that meet the norm, rather than coercion as the first instrument.
Accountability for taxpayers
Public services — clean air, safe water, unadulterated food — sized to the population that actually pays for them, under Article 21.
State-level leadership
States willing to legislate first, demonstrating that a population norm is workable before it is taken nationwide.

TAXAB opens its campaign for a two-child law on the eve of World Population Day, and begins meeting Governors, Chief Ministers and state health ministers.

Campus lecture programme
Talks on the ill-effects of overpopulation at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, DIT & IMS University, Noida International University and others.
2019
Responsible Parenthood Act 2019
A drafted bill is handed to President Ram Nath Kovind by a delegation of Members of Parliament and TAXAB.
2020-2021
National debate
Sustained television debates, editorials and digital campaigning keep population law on the national agenda.
2022-2026
Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand
Member of the expert committee that drafted the UCC; the Bill was passed in February 2024 and the Act notified in March 2024.
2025-2026
Equal education, equal rights
Member of Uttarakhand's Strategic Advisory Committee, and a voice behind the Minority Educational Institutions Act, 2025.
